We're very proud and excited to offer the new Eurocode stainless steel test pipe for the Audi A4 equipped with the 2.0T FSI engine. Rarely have we encountered such a simple means to greater power, quicker spool up, and heftier torque than with this bolt-on modification. In fact, even we were surprised at the honest and solid gains obtained through the use of this piece.
On the outside, our new test pipe is beautiful; made entirely of T304 aircraft-quality stainless steel and polished to a mirror finish. Performance wise, the mandrel-bent pipe tapers gradually from a 2.75" internal diameter at the turbo to 2.5" at the factory downpipe flange and will work with all aftermarket as well as OEM exhaust systems that utilize the factory flange and adaptor location.
The performance gains from our new test pipe speak for themselves. Check out the two graphs on the right. The first graph charts the increases gained in horsepower (the red line) and torque (the blue line) over a stock configuration. These gains were earned by simply using our new pipe! As you can see, the test pipe yields significant increase in power and torque, especially at the low end of the RPM range (and climbing again in the upper RPMs) as spool time is decreased with increased flow.
The dyno chart below it shows the same car dynoed at at the same independent shop, with all variables except our test pipe held constant The increases in power and torque make themselves clear throughout the range, providing more go regardless of where you're at.
