Company Policies

Returns & Exhanges:

EUROCODE Tuning does its best to make sure all product descriptions are up to date and as accurate as possible.  Sometimes we make mistakes, and if you ordered a part due to incorrect information on EUROCODE’s behalf, we will pay for the return shipping of the item and issue a full refund.  However, if the part ordered is incorrect due to customer error, you are subject to our terms and agreements written below.  It is strongly recommended you verify all parts match the intended application before you submit your order by calling us to make sure.  In the case the wrong part is ordered by the customer or if the customer simply does not want the item anymore, the customer must contact EUROCODE within 30 days of receiving the item to request a refund or exchange.  Any costs incurred by EUROCODE for unauthorized shipment refusal and without first obtaining an RMA number from EUROCODE, will result in those costs being deducted from any refunds or store credit that the customer is entitled to.  This policy applies to phone orders, and our sales representatives are not responsible for any errors over the phone.  It is the customer’s responsibility to review the receipt e-mailed to them for accuracy and notify EUROCODE immediately to make any changes before the part is shipped.  After 30 days have passed since you have received the item, all sales are final. To return the part(s) the customer must obtain an approved RMA number from EUROCODE and ship back all item(s) in their original packaging with 100% of the original contents. Items sent back without an approved RMA number will be refused. A 20% restocking fee will be charged on any order that is returned for either a refund or store credit. Shipping charges are non-refundable including actual shipping costs incurred by EUROCODE with any “Free Shipping” offer. Additional fees may be charged for any missing parts, damage to the item, or is not in a resalable condition. No Returns will be accepted on any parts that have been installed, modified, painted, or damaged- NO EXCEPTIONS.

A Return Authorization Number that is issued by EUROCODE is valid for 15 days from the day that it is issued. Items must be sent using a service that can be tracked and shows it is in the courier’s possession no later than 15 days from the day that the RMA is issued. If your package is sent beyond the 15 day allotted time limit, EUROCODE and EUROCODE’s suppliers reserve the right to refuse the return. EUROCODE also will not issue another RMA # for this item if the previously issued RMA # has expired already.

Any product that is custom made or made to order can only be returned to EUROCODE or its suppliers/product manufacturers at EUROCODE’s own discretion. All requests to return merchandise of this nature will be addressed on a case by case basis. If EUROCODE or its suppliers/product manufacturers deny a return for whatever reason they see fit, no action can be taken against EUROCODE or its suppliers/product manufacturers as the purchaser has agreed to these terms at the time of purchase.

Warranty:

Eurocode Tuning offers a one year warranty against manufacturer defects unless otherwise stated. If the product was modified or installed against the manufactures specification the warranty will be void. Warranties are not transferable and apply only to the original purchaser.

Some items such as brake components, clutch components, electrical components or any other wearable item will not be covered by a warranty. There are few cases where one of the aforementioned items may be covered, but those will be done solely at Eurocode Tunings discretion.

All items covered under the warranty will require testing to diagnose the failure. Because of this, any or all parts looking to be covered by warrany will need to be sent to Eurocode Tuning or the respective manufacture to be tested. Eurocode Tuning does not guarantee that any products will be covered by the warranty until this process is complete. In some cases warranties will be denied and Eurocode Tuning must return the product or products at the expense of the customer.

Eurocode Tuning is not responsible for any damages that may have occurred by using the products that we sell. Eurocode Tuning does not pay for consequential, incidental and contingent damages or costs incurred of any kind, including the cost incurred directly or indirectly in relation to products sold by Eurocode Tuning including labor or product coverage. Eurocode Tuning will only replace the defective product that was originally purchased. This will happen once we have verified that this part is faulty and we have confirmed that the part is within its warranty period. Under no circumstance will Eurocode Tuning be held responsible for any additional products or fees that may have been damaged or lost as a result of a faulty product. This includes but is also not limited to duties, taxes, and brokerage fees for foreign shipments. Replacement items will only be shipped to the original address, no exceptions.

The customer is responsible for the cost of returning any item for warranty inspection or repair. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Damaged or Defective Parts:
Even though all items are shipping to the customer in new condition (unless specified otherwise), sometimes they are mishandled by shipping agents.  It is for this reason EUROCODE urges all customers to inspect items immediately upon arrival, and if defects are found, to contact EUROCODE within 5 business days to report the damaged item.  After 5 business days all claims of damaged or defective parts will be refused.  When contacting EUROCODE for damaged items, please describe the defect to the best of your ability (you might be required to send photos to verify the reported damage in order for a return authorization).  The shipping damage claim will be filed with the shipper by EUROCODE or by EUROCODE’s supplier who shipped the item directly to the customer. Once EUROCODE has confirmation that the shipping damage claim has been filed with the shipper and/or confirmed that the product(s) have left defective from the product’s carrier, EUROCODE will issue a pre-paid shipping label from the carrier and customer will drop off the package at a local shipping hub for the shipping company. EUROCODE’s decision to ship out replacement products prior to receiving finalizations or verdicts on any damage claim associated with shipping will be done solely at the discretion of EUROCODE.

Please note that on international returns, EUROCODE will not be responsible for any return shipping costs.

Any authorized return shipment to EUROCODE or EUROCODE’s suppliers that incur shipping damage will have a shipping damage claim filed with the corresponding shipping companies. All refunds to be issued will be temporarily postponed until such damage claims are settled with that courier. If it is determined that the damage to the return shipment was not caused by the courier, then the customer will not be entitled to any refunds and the item can be shipped back at customers’ expense. Customer will be issued an RMA number from EUROCODE for the return of damaged parts.  Items sent back without an approved RMA number will be refused and all damage claims will be null and void. A fee may be charged for any missing items. In the event that an item is received defective the customer must file warranty claims directly with the manufacturer unless instructed otherwise by the manufacturer.  EUROCODE will be happy to assist customers with any warranty claims processes with manufacturer, however, the manufacturer and only the manufacturer has the sole discretion on warranty claims resolutions.  EUROCODE has no input or leverage with warranty claims.  If the customer decides to not keep the product instead of receiving a replacement because it is damaged, defective, and/or lost in transit, a 20% restocking fee will be applied for the return as this will then be considered a return under the conditions of “Decide Not to Keep Parts”. Any costs incurred by EUROCODE for unauthorized shipment refusal and without first obtaining an RMA number from EUROCODE, will result in those costs being deducted from any refunds or store credit that the customer is entitled to. All shipping charges to be included with any refund will be null and void if EUROCODE’s Return Policy is violated in any way. All refunds and the extent of those refunds will be subject to EUROCODE’s discretion if the Return policy is violated in any way.

Any parts damaged due to faulty installation by the customer are the responsibility of the customer and cannot be returned for a refund.  No parts that have been installed, painted, or modified in any way can be returned.

Inspection Period

If you have received the wrong item, quantity, or missing items from your online order please contact us immediately via email (info@ecodetuning.com) or phone ( 310-294-8108 ) to let us know of the issue. All issues must be brought up and documented within 2 days of the package delivery date. Any inquires brought to our attention after the second day will not be accepted. When emailing us, please make sure to include your name, order number, description and any accompanying images of the issue and it will be handled as soon as possible.

International Orders:

All of our international orders are shipped with the delivery duties NOT PAID. There may be additional import duties, taxes or brokerage fees assesed to your package depending on where it is shipping or who it is shipping through. Eurocode Tuning is NOT responsible for these additional fees. International shipments not delivered or picked up by the customer will be abandoned and no reshipment will be made nor refunds given.

Coupon Code:

Throughout www.ecodetuning.com we offer coupon codes upon purchase of various items, or product packages. Upon completing the purchase, you will receive a coupon code which will be sent to the email address associated with the order. These coupon codes cannot be traded for any cash value, or refund on previous order. The coupon code can only be used by the account associated with the order. All coupon codes expire after 6 months, no exceptions.

Wrong Parts Received (shipping error, correct parts were ordered):
EUROCODE makes every attempt to ship all orders quickly and accurately. If a mistake is made and the customer receives an incorrect part, it is required that the customer verify that all delivered items match the Sales Order before any installation takes place.  If the part has been installed, painted, or modified in any way, the customer now owns the part and it is non-returnable. In the case incorrect parts are received, the customer must contact EUROCODE within 15 days to report the error. After 15 days all sales are final. If the error is verified by EUROCODE, an exchange for the correct part will be processed. The customer must obtain an approved RMA number from EUROCODE and ship back all item(s) in their original packaging with 100% of the original contents prior to EUROCODE sending out the replacement product. EUROCODE will not ship out the correct merchandise until confirmation of receipt of product is acquired by EUROCODE, customer may opt to place a deposit which is 100% of the cost of the item in order to expedite the shipment of the correct product. Once the return shipment is received, EUROCODE will issue a full refund for the additional purchased product. If the customer decides not to keep the product instead of receiving a replacement because it is damaged, defective, incorrect, and/or lost in transit, a 20% restocking fee will be applied for the return as this will then be considered a return under the conditions of “Returns & Exchanges”. For domestic returns, EUROCODE will pay the shipping costs.  Any costs incurred by EUROCODE for unauthorized shipment refusal and without first obtaining an RMA number from EUROCODE, will result in those costs being deducted from any refunds or store credit that the customer is entitled to. Any authorized return shipment to EUROCODE or EUROCODE’s suppliers that incur shipping damage will have a shipping damage claim filed with the corresponding shipping companies. All refunds to be issued will be temporarily postponed until such damage claims are settled with that courier. If it is determined that the damage to the return shipment was not caused by the courier, then the customer will not be entitled to any refunds and the item can be shipped back at customers’ expense. For international returns, shipping costs will be paid by the customer. Items sent back without an approved RMA number will be refused.

Wheels Return Policy:
Wheels that have had tires mounted on them or have been fastened onto vehicle will be regarded as used items and therefore are not returnable under any circumstances. It is the responsibility of the customer to follow the instructions provided on the packaging of each wheel prior to installation. Customers have 30 days in which to notify EUROCODE of receipt of incorrect or defective wheels. The customer must obtain an approved RMA number from EUROCODE and ship back all item(s) in their original packaging with 100% of the original contents prior to EUROCODE sending out replacement wheels. Shipping damage claims must be reported within 15 business days. No refunds will be issued for any unauthorized returns. Each box is clearly labeled with instructions to fully inspect wheels upon receipt prior to installation. EUROCODE provides its’ customers with all possible resources to secure proper fitment and order accuracy prior to product installation. EUROCODE customer service representatives are available to assist our customers with any uncertainties regarding their wheel purchases. Any deviation from this policy will be deemed as customer negligence and all sales will be final.

Shipping:
Orders are normally shipped within 24-48 hours, however, in some cases longer shipping times may occur. If you need the part(s) by a specific date please notify us by phone at 310-294-8108. EUROCODE ships to any location where UPS, FedEx, and the US Postal Service can deliver. All orders must be shipped to the matching billing address associated with the purchasing credit card, no exceptions. If there is ever conflicting addresses, the package will be sent to the billing address. Free shipping offers only apply to destinations within the continental United States and items will be shipped via standard ground shipping. International orders submitted through our website will be put into review by a sales rep and you will be contacted with the shipping charge for your approval before we process your payment.  Multiple item orders may be shipped separately and on different days. Any costs incurred by EUROCODE for unauthorized shipment refusal and without first obtaining an RMA number from EUROCODE, will result in those costs being deducted from any refunds or store credit that the customer is entitled to. A 25% restocking fee will be charged on any order if delivery is refused. Any authorized return shipment to EUROCODE or EUROCODE’ suppliers that incur shipping damage will have a shipping damage claim filed with the corresponding shipping companies. All refunds to be issued will be temporarily postponed until such damage claims are settled with that courier. If it is determined that the damage to the return shipment was not caused by the courier, then the customer will not be entitled to any refunds and the item can be shipped back at customers’ expense. We will only ship to your billing address linked to the credit card unless you fill out our address form.  International shipping costs on returns are not the liability of EUROCODE at any time and must be paid for by the customer in the return process.

Paypal orders processed on www.ecodetuning.com that total over $750 require a signature delivery, no exceptions. 

All free shipping and or discounted shipping promos are for the continental US only and may be limited to specific sizes or weights. We at Eurocode Tuning reserve the right to deny any discounted or free shipping to any order

Payments Accepted and Taxes:
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, bank wire transfers, and cashier or certified checks. We do not accept personal checks or CODs. EUROCODE collects sales tax on all orders shipping to California, as required by law.  International orders over $300 MUST be paid via wire transfer only.

Pricing and Product Specifications:

Here at Eurocode Tuning we work hard to have the most up to date and accurate information for all of the items lisited on our website. Due to many factors we cannot guarantee that every item has 100% accurate information, this includes but is not limited to, descriptions, pictures, pricing, fitment or any other product specific information. In the event of an error, Eurocode Tuning has the right to refuse or cancel any order for the incorrect item and fix the product with the correct information.

Order Cancelation
If your order has not been charged, you may cancel without penalty.  If your order has been packaged, labeled for shipment, or charged, a 5% fee will apply to cancel your order due to the work our staff has put in already.  Please note that most orders are pulled from inventory, labeled, charged, and ready for shipment very quickly after your order is placed, so please do not order unless you mean to actually receive and pay for your items.  EUROCODE reserves the right to cancel any unshipped order without customer approval, but the customer will be notified. If an order has already shipped and the customer wants to cancel it, the Return Authorization procedure must be followed and a restocking fee may apply. Refusing delivery of an item does not constitute an order cancellation and a 20% restocking fee will be applied for a refund or store credit. Any authorized return shipment to EUROCODE or EUROCODE’ suppliers that incur shipping damage will have a shipping damage claim filed with the corresponding shipping companies. All refunds to be issued will be temporarily postponed until such damage claims are settled with that courier. If it is determined that the damage to the return shipment was not caused by the courier, then the customer will not be entitled to any refunds and the item can be shipped back at customers’ expense. Please note that this cancelation policy does not apply to “special order” or “backordered” items.  Gift certificates cannot be refunded.

Back Orders:
From time to time parts ordered may not be available and a back-order is required.  EUROCODE provides special order form paperwork for backorder situations.  This paperwork supersedes the above mentioned “Order Cancelation” policy and backordered items are subject to the terms stated in your special order form.  If possible to ship without any additional fee, all items from your order that are not back-ordered will be shipped directly to you.  If the other items can be shipped with an additional shipping cost, you will be notified for approval of this cost before we ship these items.

Lost Shipments:
In the event that a shipment is lost by a shipping company (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.), a claim will be filed by the original shipper with that shipping company. EUROCODE reserves the right to issue any and all refunds, exchanges or replacements until the shipping company has reimbursed EUROCODE for the insured value of the lost shipment, Any deviation from this rule will be solely conducted by EUROCODE at its own discretion.

Any shipment that is shipped from EUROCODE location will carry an insured value. Any lost or missing shipments will be pursued with the corresponding shipping company for that shipment. Due to the fact that some products sold by EUROCODE are not actually stocked by EUROCODE, any insurance claims for lost or missing shipments will be conducted solely by the discretion of the supplier that had originally shipped out the merchandise. EUROCODE does not have any authority to carry out and such insurances claims if EUROCODE was not the original shipping company.

For non-signature required shipments: If the tracking information that corresponds to a shipment confirms that the product was delivered to the intended address the customer assumes all responsibilities and liabilities for the receipt of that shipment. The customer is the one who provides EUROCODE with the ship to information and in doing so absolves EUROCODE of any liabilities for missing or stolen deliveries.

Special Orders:
Special order items may are subject to the terms stated in your special order agreement and the terms specified in the “order cancelation” policy do not apply to backordered or special ordered items. All sales are final on Special Orders. Pre-payment is required for Special Order items.

Installation and Labor Costs:
EUROCODE assumes no liability for any installation or labor costs the customer may incur in connection with parts purchased from us, even if there was a wrong item received or defective item received.  It is the customer’s responsibility to fully inspect all received parts for accuracy and quality before contracting an installation shop to do any labor.

Supplier Confidentiality Violation:
EUROCODE reserves the right to issue any and all refunds or credits if a customer decides to contact a EUROCODE’S supplier without EUROCODE’S consent. Any customer that contacts a EUROCODE supplier without EUROCODE’S consent will be in violation of EUROCODE’S Terms and Policies and may actually incur penalty charges for performing such an act. All questions about customer purchased orders will go through EUROCODE and EUROCODE alone unless EUROCODE grants approval to a customer to contact a supplier. Such consent will be provided in a documented format.

Discontinued Vendors:
Although EUROCODE values its relationships with its suppliers, circumstances may arise which may force EUROCODE to terminate business practices with any of its suppliers and therefore discontinuing any product(s) associated with that supplier. Any product supported by a manufacturing warranty that EUROCODE elects to discontinue distribution of will be supported only by the manufacturer or the former supplier of that product. EUROCODE bears no responsibilities or liabilities to conduct any warranty claims for items that they do not or no longer distribute.

Refunds:
Refunds will be made using the same method of payment as the original transaction whenever possible, with the exception of wire transfers. Any payment made via wire transfer will be refunded by company check.

Fraudulent Credit Card Transaction and Chargeback Policy:
It is sad that we have to put this section into this agreement, but the fact is that many people that make purchases on the Internet do so with the intent to defraud the merchant. EUROCODETUNING.com takes credit card fraud very seriously and that is why we have added this section. A chargeback is when you call your credit card company or bank and tell them to reverse the charges paid to a merchant. Filing a chargeback after receiving merchandise is fraud and we will prosecute anybody that attempts or commits fraud against us.

If you place a chargeback with your credit card company (on purpose or by mistake) for any order that you placed and received, there will be a $150.00 research fee charged to your account upon receiving the chargeback by our merchant provider to cover our investigative expenses to prove that you did make the purchase. By filing a chargeback you are also voluntarily revoking your right to return the products that have been sent to you
EUROCODETUNING.com does not tolerate credit card fraud, and all fraud, without exception, will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. In addition, we will pursue civil legal action seeking any loss of income related to the fraud, including business, legal fees, research costs, employee downtime and loss of revenues.

EUROCODETUNING.com considers credit card chargebacks to be fraud if you have made no reasonable effort to work with us to resolve any problems with your purchase. All frivolous chargebacks not only cost our employees time away from our usual and customary matters of conducting normal business but cost us money, therefore:

You agree that if you, the buyer, choose to do business with EUROCODETUNING.com, and you file a chargeback with your credit card company, and you do not win the chargeback argument, you agree to pay us $150 for our time responding to the matter plus any owed restocking fees that you have agreed to. You, the buyer authorize us to charge this amount to your credit card. If this charge is rejected (or charged back again), EUROCODETUNING.com will pursue legal action to recoup losses for our time associated with responding to the chargeback in addition to any other fees explained above. You agree to reimburse us or any representative we may appoint for any legal expenses your actions may make us incur. We take fraud seriously. If any provision of this Agreement is deemed illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The waiver of a breach hereunder does not waive any other or subsequent breach.

If you file a chargeback prior to returning merchandise and there are outstanding fees due to us (restocking fees or other agreed-upon fees), your merchandise will not be accepted by us. We will either not sign for it (if a signature is required) or will mark it return to sender.
In the event that you win the chargeback with your credit card company, and have not returned our goods, EUROCODETUNING.com will attempt to recover fraudulently disputed charges plus all other fees owed to us and additional costs via a third-party collection agency and your account will be reported to all credit bureaus as a delinquent collection account. This may severely damage your credit rating for at least the next seven (7) years. In addition to this, EUROCODETUNING.com will file a report with your local police or sheriff’s department and file a mail fraud complaint with the United States Postal Inspection Service.

Note: The customer must attempt to return any and all merchandise to EUROCODETUNING.com before attempting a chargeback. NO EXCEPTIONS!
